Asbestos Surveys
Have you assessed your premises yet?
Asbestos became increasingly popular among manufacturers and builders in the late 19th century due to its resistance to heat, electricity and chemical damage, its sound absorption and tensile strength.
The inhalation of asbestos fibres can cause serious illnesses, including mesothelioma and asbestosis. Since the mid 1980s, many uses of asbestos have been banned in many countries.

These range from very small to very large jobs such as the 95 acre factory site surveyed in July 2008 in Northampton. We also test the asbestos in our own UKAS accredited laboratory in Washington.
